It Occurs to Me…

Yeah, okay, so I haven't written a blog post in almost six years. Bite me.

But I need to express some things and it's not gonna be on FB or any of the other nets by which the government gleans our thoughts and opinions. A plague on all their houses.

And speaking of plagues, this morning's NYT reports that a lawyer close to the heart of RFK jr is suing the FDA to take the polio vaccine off the market.

Initial reactions will include "OMG, is he nuts? Polio was a scrourge that felled millions when it rampaged," to "Thank god! Now the government won't be putting microchips in my kids." I see something more insidious and evil:

Don't for a minute think that that these men—and they are all men—care one whit about the children in this country, or for that matter, the world—I'll bet you a cookie that their children will receive vaccines. No, much like our ancestors who distributed blankets permeated with small pox to Native Americans, they want to kill and maim the children of the poor, people of color and the undocumented. The disinfrancished will be denied vaccines for themselves and their children and when they fall sick, as they invariably will, the cry will follow that these pawns in the new government's sick game, are "infecting the blood of our nation." Adding to the pain of their loss—because children will die—will be the shame that they spread the contagion to others.

Congratulations America!
